Our Staff

Pastor Dr. Barbara Cameron is the anointed, visionary leader, God sent to lead Harlem Tabernacle Church. She has served Harlem Tabernacle Church, faithfully, for 35 years. Her godly mission, for Harlem Tabernacle, is to raise it to the next level of success and achievement. Dr. Cameron is both humbled and honored that God chose her as the anointed vessel to lead Harlem Tabernacle.

Affectionately known as “Pastor Barbara,” she teaches, conducts workshops and preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through her principled leadership, Harlem Tabernacle Church made strides and continues to make strides in the following areas: Spirituality, Education and Ministry Expansion.

Pastor Barbara earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Long Island University. She also earned the following degrees from Community Bible Institute and Seminary (Brooklyn, NY) – Bachelor of Theology, Master of Divinity, Doctorate of Divinity.

Pastor Barbara is the daughter of the late Minister Mittie Pearl Merriwether. She is also the mother of Minister Kyria Cameron.
